I have never heard of this? On a normal server shared or not this is not the case. You have a many posts about fundamentally the same problem moving sites from Wamp to live server,it should be seamless!!!The hosting said that everytime I empty the public_html folder, I have to change PHP version because it resets to default 5.6.4.
